Jonathan Bardavid, a partner with the firm, has been practicing law since 2003 and is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut. He focuses on litigation and dispute resolution in Federal and State courts, representing individuals, employers, businesses, and municipalities in the areas of civil litigation, commercial litigation, and estate litigation.

Jonathan’s main areas of focus include complex commercial and estate disputes, land use, zoning, municipal matters, construction law, contract disputes, partnership disputes, and other circumstances involving closely-held businesses.

In addition, Jonathan has extensive experience in labor and employment matters, including the defense of wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act. He works with business executives and HR professionals to provide guidance on subjects such as compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination laws, how to effectively manage risk, and how to avoid legal and regulatory problems. Jonathan also represents unionized employers in areas such as collective bargaining, grievances, arbitrations and before the National Labor Relations Board.

Prior to joining Daniels, Porco & Lusardi, LLP, Jonathan worked at several law firms in the New York City metropolitan area and Connecticut. He served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment Law Division of the New York City Law Department, as well as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Thomas A. Bishop, Connecticut Appellate Court.

Jonathan received his J.D., cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law in 2003, and graduated from Binghamton University with a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and Law in 2000.
