The managing member of Dolgetta Law, PLLC (the “Firm”) (a professional limited liability company organized under the laws of State of New York), John received his Juris Doctor degree from Pace University School of Law and also received the School’s Certificate of Concentration in International Law. His areas of concentration include real estate, real estate agency law, commercial leasing, representation of commercial and residential lenders, corporate and commercial transactional law and wills and trusts. The Firm is outside corporate counsel to the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors®, Inc. and The Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Services, Inc. two of the largest trade associations and Realtor® associations in New York. The Firm is also counsel to various real estate brokerage firms and brokers. The Firm was previously outside general corporate and leasing counsel to PFNY, LLC (a large Planet Fitness® franchisees). John focuses on general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions involving stock and asset transfers, real estate agency law and real estate law, and lease negotiations involving significant and complex “big box” leases and commercial leases. John represents real estate broker and real estate agent clients regarding complaints filed with the New York State Department of State, Division of Licensing Services, and with the New York State Human Rights Commission.
Prior to joining the firm, John served as General Counsel at Rebound International, Inc., a web-based business-to-business e-commerce company specializing in international trade via the establishment of an international e-commerce trading and exchange platform for businesses worldwide. As General Counsel, John negotiated and drafted a wide range of agreements, including marketing alliance agreements, strategic alliance agreements, leases, trade agreements, employment agreements, and buy-sell agreements. Prior to joining Rebound, John also worked as an attorney for National Economic Research Associates, Inc. (a subsidiary of the Marsh & McLennan Company), where he was engaged in legal research and consulting for senior economists in the company. While attending Pace Law School, John served as a Managing Editor for the Pace Environmental Law Review and authored Friends of the Earth v. Crown Central Petroleum: The Surrogate Enforcer Must be Allowed to “Stand Up” for the Environment, which was published in the Law Review. John is also the author of numerous articles on real estate law and real estate agency law which have been published in the legal column of Real Estate In-Depth (a monthly periodical of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors®, Inc.) and in LegalLines (a quarterly publication of the New York State Association of Realtors®).
